Nexus Talent Connect seeks a full-time Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our team specializing in Personal Injury, Mass Torts, and Consumer Class Action cases. This role emphasizes research and writing, alongside supporting all litigation phases such as drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and preparing for trial. Candidates must have proficiency in drafting and responding to various motions in both California and Federal Courts. The position offers potential for hybrid work arrangements based on the candidate's capacity to manage firm demands. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of both independent and collaborative work, and possesses a dedication to securing justice and compensation for clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active membership with the California State Bar
- 3-5 years of experience in law and motion
- Exceptional research and writing abilities
- Preference for judicial clerkship experience, though not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and analytical skills
- Stay updated with current Federal and California legal developments
- Thrive in a dynamic team environment
- Proficiency in drafting various pre- and post-trial motions, including Motions for Summary Judgment, Demurrers, Motions to Strike, Kelly/Frye or Daubert motions, and various discovery motions.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Full-time position
- Base salary of $150,000 plus annual performance-based bonus; salary adjusted based on experience
- Paid vacation and sick leave
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, and 401k with employer contributions.
